Signals and Systems India Private Limited (SANDS) is committed to sourcing components and materials from companies that share our values regarding respect for human rights, integrity, and environmental responsibility.
Signals and Systems India Private Limited supports the intent of the Act (“Dodd Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act OF 2010”) and its efforts not to support the violence associated with the mining of these minerals (tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold) in affected regions. SANDS' policy is to avoid sourcing these minerals whenever it can be shown that profits from the sale of the minerals are being used to fund conflict and human rights abuses in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DCR) and adjoining countries. SANDS recognizes the difficulty of doing this but is committed to doing it to avoid the use of those minerals in its products.
This policy is implemented by SANDS by contacting its suppliers and requesting the origins and traceability of all conflict minerals. SANDS relies on its suppliers to inform them whether they are conflict-free.
